Sneak Peek of Kalo's Wedding Preparation!

I cannot believe I am getting married in two months! Sorry for the complete silence as I have been busy organising and making wedding stuff (mainly DIY projects!) Here is a little sneak peek of what I have been up to!

Here is the idea for our wedding cake topper:

The wedding cake topper is going to sit on a cake like this!

I also DIY some hangers for my bridesmaid dresses by spray painting them lilac colour and drawing illustrations that match each bridesmaid's personality!

And of course sending out invites to the Hens to join my Hen's party at the Wilderness Festival!

DIY personalized bridesmaid dress' hangers

When I first met my wedding photographer for my engagement photo session, she reminded me that I should think about the hangers used for my bridesmaids' dresses. She said it is best to have all the hangers in the same style as they look better on photos. She was quite right! As a detailed lover, I decided to DIY and add a personal touch to all the hangers for my lovely bridesmaids!

I went and bought a bunch of wooden hangers and sprayed paint them into lilac colour (which go well with the greyish lilac bridesmaid dresses).

I also bought some lilac ribbons which were then used to wrap around the silver metal holder, with the help of double sided tape.

After the spray paint dried, I then hand-painted each and individual hanger with drawings that reflect the favourite things of each lovely bridesmaid!

It's so fun making them and it is easy too. Personalizing add a special touch to the presents and I hope my bridesmaids will like them as much as I do!

I will be posting more details of the DIY process for my own wedding soon!
Stay put!

Bespoke Business Card Designs in Hong Kong

This is a bespoke name card for Eric,  a scientist, a geometrist and a mathematician. Everything was kept as simple, as black and white as possible. When the name cards are placed together, the lines join up in a geometrical way!
Due to privacy reason, information on the name card displayed here had been edited after printing and is not accurate.

"Dragon & Snake" Bespoke Wedding Invitation design Singapore

Sara and Marco moved from Italy to Singapore almost a year ago and this is their very first experience of living in Asia. They both fell in love with the Chinese lifestyle and culture and are eager to incorporate some Chinese elements into their wedding invitations. They asked me to illustrate a dragon and a snake as their wedding takes place in Asia (Singapore). Additionally, it occurs during the transition from the dragon year to the
snake year.
