"Barn Yard Boggie Brighton" Bespoke Wedding Invitation

Today is exactly one month since our wedding in Brighton!

Here are some photos of the wedding invitation suite designed by myself and my husband, Daniel, for our barn yard boggie wedding this summer! We both love animals and dream of having our own farm one day. Among all animals, pig is our favourite! The day we got engaged, Daniel gave me two pig toys which we incorporated them onto the wedding invitation design. The main wedding invitation was printed in a purple hot foil and the kraft paper piggy tags were cut out with a die cut machine. As a handmade lover, I attached each piggy tag together with a piece of burlap and wrapped around the invitation set and I calligraphed all the guests' names to add a personal touch.
Our wedding venue was at the Pangdean Barn near Brighton, U.K. It has a rustic feel where we decorated each corner with animals. For our wedding ceremony, we spent months choosing poems, literature pieces and songs that truly mean something to us. During the ceremony, I read Tracey Emin's poem "For Now" and as a surprise, Daniel sung "We're going to be friends" by The White Stripes in front of a hundred guests! Which led me into tears! (happy tears!)
To keep our friends entertained, we created several games that guests could play throughout the day. We came up with the idea of a "Barnyard Bingo", an activity card to played during the dinner and I even designed a Kid's Activity Book to keep the children busy!
We love every bit of our wedding and everything was just perfect!
